Vssi is Hiring an Engineering Technician Trainee (FT) Near Arlington, TX
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on qualifications
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability
- Assist in monitoring, auditing and reporting of site process through use of metrics.
- Assist new and existing process development, implementation, and controls in support of Delta Group Electronics and customer specific needs at the site.
- Assist implementation of user group standards across the site and support user group projects on specific processes as required.
- Train individuals in various processes, required tools, and philosophies.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. BS in Engineering is preferred.
- Related Manufacturing Industry experience of 3 - 5 or more years is highly desirable.
- Experience with Cable & Wire Harness and Mechanical assembly process is highly preferred.
- Able to build, assemble, analyze and test assemblies.
- Able to develop Work Instructions and assembly process flow.
- Able to use electrical and mechanical assembly tools.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
